What are the requirements for renting a car?
Driver must produce a valid Malaysia class D driver’s license or a valid international driver’s license accompanied by identification card, passport, work permit or employment pass.
Minimum age is above 22 and maximum is 65. For Malaysian a minimum of 6 months P qualified driving experience is required.

What does the car rental rate include?
Rates include free modify booking, replacement vehicle, maintenance and unlimited mileage. Minimum charge is one-day rental except Saturday, Sunday and
public holidays. Excess hour is charged at one tenth of daily rates. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. All rates are quoted in Malaysia
currency and are subject to GST (Goods and Services Tax).

What happens if my vehicle is involved in a car accident?
Please write down the other party vehicle (s) license number, make & colour, as well as the driver’s details and contact information.
You will require to take photos of the accident before moving the vehicle as evidence. The Hirer must
inform us immediately and shall not admit liability. Should there be any bodily injuries, the Hirer
must report to the respective authorities within 24 hours.

Where do I pick up the vehicle?
You can collect and return the vehicle at our office (nearby RHB Bandar Baru Uda). Should there be a need for delivery &
collection services, a service fee is applicable from RM30.00 onwards during office hours only From: Mon – Sunday (0900Hrs – 2100Hrs)

Must I refill the petrol tank ?
Hirer should refill the petrol to the same level when he/she collected the vehicle. If the tank is not refuel to the
same level, the cost of petrol plus a service charge of RM10 will be levied.

What if I receive a parking ticket?
Hirer is responsible for all parking and traffic violations and it is the responsibility of the hirer.If the tank is not refuel to the

Can the rental vehicle be driven to Singapore?
Vehicles are strictly for Malaysia use only. If the hired vehicle is driven into Singapore, the hirer shall be responsible for the full cost of
Recovery/Towing charges back to Malaysia in the event of a breakdown plus an unlimited liability should an accident occur.
However, hirer may elect for the option to use the hired vehicle in Malaysia by informing Gobig Travel office in advance so that authorization,
insurance, recovery and towing service can be arranged at RM100.00 per day or RM1000.00 per month. The excess liability for Singapore use will be
double of the Malaysia excess.

What if the rental vehicle breaks down?
Gobig Travel provides a 24-Hour Emergency Breakdown and Towing Service at no cost to the hirer, in the event that the vehicle or
its replacement suffers a breakdown or accident within mainland Malaysia.
The hirer agrees that punctured tyres, empty petrol tank, flattened battery, loss of car key or key locked inside the vehicle
by itself, does not constitute a breakdown and in the event that the 24-Hour Emergency Service is called upon to respond to such
occurrence, the hirer shall bear the cost of such response at RM100.00 service charge per trip and other cost of replacing the parts.

How can I extend the rental period?
Should the hirer wish to extend the rental period, it is important that Gobig Travel is informed immediately. An advance payment
is required to extend the rental period, failing which the driver is driving without insurance.

What is the form of payment for renting a car?
The estimated rental charge for the period plus a deposit is payable upon taking delivery of the vehicle.
Final adjustment will be made upon return of the vehicle and completion of the rental. Please note that there will be no
refund in the event that the hired vehicle is returned earlier before the due date.
Payment can be made via Visa/MasterCard, Nets, Paypal and cash.

What if there is an additional driver?
Only registered driver with Gobig Travel is able to drive the vehicles, no insurance will be covered for those who are not
registered. Subsequent drivers can be registered at a fee of RM20.00 per day.

Will there be any refunds or discounts if I decide to return the vehicle on an earlier date?
No, no refunds or discounts will be given. The Hirer will be charged according to the fee of rental as agreed.

Cancellation or Rescheduling?
No additional charges for cancellation or rescheduling of booking 7 days before the actual date of reservation.
There will be no refund if Gobig Travel needs to replace hirer another car due to unforeseen circumstances
such as accident, breakdown or technical issue
